Rule summary

  • Must be related to Claude Cowork (not code): Don't make topics about Claude Code here.
  • Thoughtful value: Let your posts be genuine, helpful, and something people want to read that you put effort into. No spam, where you had the AI write it for you, where it was based on one simple prompt to get maximum engagement, where it was copied and pasted to a large number of subs.
  • Don't beg for a referral links: Don't beg for a referral links
  • Don't ask people to go ask Claude: Assume the best of people's intentions and that they've done their research and that they're coming here for a good reason.
  • Be kind: Give criticism gently. No personal attacks, harassment, gatekeeping, or trolling. Assume people mean well. Dismissing AI-assisted work as "vibe coding" is gatekeeping. Building and shipping with AI is welcome here.
  • Keep things appropriate: No explicit imagery, graphic violence, or NSFW content or chatbots.
  • Show your work: Project posts need at least one of these: a repo link, a live demo, screenshots with some explanation, or a short "what broke and how I fixed it" paragraph.
  • Showcase Sundays: Showcase posts are welcome on Sundays. When in doubt, use the Showcase Sunday flair. Try to hang out and contribute during the rest of the week too.

Works well

  • A Sunday showcase of something you built with Claude Cowork, with the Showcase Sunday flair and a repo link or live demo attached.
  • A screenshots post of your Claude Cowork setup with a few sentences explaining what each part does, which satisfies “Show your work”.
  • A short what broke and how I fixed it story about a project you shipped with Claude Cowork, written in your own words.
  • A genuine tip or workflow writeup about how you use Claude Cowork day to day, posted midweek while you also comment on other people's threads.
  • A helpful answer to someone else's question, answered directly instead of telling them to go ask Claude.

Avoid

  • Posting about Claude Code, because “Must be related to Claude Cowork (not code)” says code topics do not belong here.
  • Pasting an AI-written post or a one-prompt engagement bait thread, because “Thoughtful value” calls that spam.
  • Dropping the same post across many subreddits, because “Thoughtful value” names copy and pasting to a large number of subs as spam.
  • Sharing a project with no repo, demo, screenshots, or story, because “Show your work” requires at least one of those.
  • Posting a showcase on a weekday, because “Showcase Sundays” limits showcase posts to Sundays.
  • Asking for referral links or begging for signups, because “Don't beg for a referral links” forbids it directly and “Thoughtful value” backs it up as spam. Also, the brief marks AI content as discouraged, so hand write everything you publish here.

What r/ClaudeCowork Is For

This is a fan community for Claude Cowork, and the description says it plainly, it is a place where fans come and chat. The rules add a sharp edge to that, because rule one says posts must be related to Claude Cowork and not code, so this is not the room for Claude Code talk. The people here are fans and users of the product, and the rules suggest a lot of them build and ship things with AI, since rule five says building and shipping with AI is welcome and rule seven sets requirements for project posts. There is also a Discord linked in the description, so some of the community life happens off Reddit too.

Rules That Matter Before Posting

The first gate is “Must be related to Claude Cowork (not code)”, which means your post has to be about Claude Cowork itself and not about Claude Code, so check that your topic actually belongs here before you write anything. The second gate is “Thoughtful value”, which bans spam, posts written by AI, posts based on one simple prompt for engagement, and copy pasted posts spread across many subs. If you share a project, “Show your work” requires at least one of a repo link, a live demo, screenshots with some explanation, or a short paragraph on what broke and how you fixed it. If your post is a showcase, “Showcase Sundays” limits those to Sundays and suggests using the Showcase Sunday flair. “Don't beg for a referral links” rules out asking people for referral links. Finally, “Be kind” matters if you ever reply to criticism, because gatekeeping and dismissing AI-assisted work as vibe coding are called out by name.

What To Post

If you built something with or around Claude Cowork, write it up yourself in your own words and save it for a Sunday, then use the Showcase Sunday flair and include a repo link, a live demo, screenshots with explanation, or a short story about what broke and how you fixed it. If you want to post during the week, be a participant first, answer questions, share tips, and hang out, because the rules ask you to contribute during the rest of the week too. A genuine writeup of how you use Claude Cowork in your own workflow, written by you and not by a model, fits the “Thoughtful value” rule. If you mention your own product, keep it light, make the post useful on its own, and never ask for referral links. And when someone asks a question you could answer with just go ask Claude, answer it yourself instead, because the rules ask you to assume people did their research.

What To Avoid

The fastest removal is posting about Claude Code, because that breaks the very first rule. Low effort and AI written posts get removed too, so do not let a tool draft your post and do not spray one post across many subreddits. Project posts without a repo, demo, screenshots, or a what broke story break “Show your work”. Showcase posts on any day other than Sunday break “Showcase Sundays”. Begging for referral links breaks “Don't beg for a referral links”. Asking people to go ask Claude instead of answering them breaks “Don't ask people to go ask Claude”. And anything explicit, violent, or NSFW breaks “Keep things appropriate”.
