Methodology and sources
Rankhog verifies the community and reads public details and rules through its Reddit Desktop browser. Successful lookups are cached for seven days; transient blocks and transport failures use shorter caches, while definitive unavailable results use one hour. The AI produces only the analysis, while Rankhog attaches the trusted community name, source links, rule count, and capture date server-side. The analysis runs through a queued request, validates every supplied rule, and makes one real repair attempt when structured output is invalid. Missing, duplicate, or invented rule findings are rejected.
