Avoid

- Insulting someone during a debate, because insults are not tolerated

What r/RealEstate Is For
r/RealEstate is a community about buying, selling, and financing homes. The description lists mortgages, foreclosures, forbearance, landlords, borrowing and lending, houses and apartments, and first time homebuyers. People come here with real situations, like buying a first house, dealing with a loan, or renting out a property. The rules make it clear this is not a place to pitch anything, because the community exists for practical real estate conversation, not for traffic.

What To Avoid

Investor recruitment, lead generation, and market research are all banned on their own. Repeated AI generated posts or comments can get you banned. Insults are not tolerated even in a spirited debate. Political talk is only allowed when it is specifically about real estate. A link posted with no context gets removed.
