GummySearch closed on 30 November 2025. The tools that moved into the gap do very different jobs, and most lists rank them as if they did the same one.
I run one of them. Rankhog warms up accounts you own, slowly, in your own browser. So this list says plainly what each tool is for, who should skip it, and what it cost on the day it was checked, Rankhog included.
Here are 11 tools in 4 groups, with 2 things you can copy.
Save this. Prices change, so the dates matter.
The best Reddit marketing tool depends on the job. For free keyword alerts, F5Bot. For alerts across many sites, Syften. For a daily lead inbox you answer yourself, RedShip, Subreddit Signals, Pulse or CommunityTracker. For market research, Reddinbox. For finding threads, drafting replies and posting from your own account, Rankhog. Pick by the job first and the price second.
- Most Reddit marketing tools do one of four jobs: alerts, lead inboxes, research, or engagement.
- Free and cheap plans cover finding threads. Writing and posting cost more.
- Some tools say they never post for you. That is a feature if you want every word to be yours.
- One tool here comments through its own accounts and sells upvotes. Read Reddit's rules on votes before you buy that.
- Every price below is dated. Check the vendor's page before you pay.
Every fact comes from each vendor's own website, read on 26 or 27 October 2026, and each tool's comparison page on Rankhog links the exact sources. Rankhog's entry comes from its own pricing page on 27 October 2026. I left out tools I couldn't check. I don't earn anything from any link here except Rankhog's.

F5Bot and Syften. Both watch for keywords and tell you when they show up, and neither writes or posts replies. F5Bot is the cheapest start. Syften covers many more sites. Pick one of these if knowing is enough.
Sends keyword alerts from Reddit, Hacker News and Lobsters to your email, instantly, batched or as a daily digest. Good for founders who want to know when their name or a keyword appears. Not for anyone who wants help writing or posting replies. Price on 26 October 2026: a free plan, Silver at $12.99/month with 20 keywords for individuals and non-commercial use, and Gold at $49.99/month with 200 keywords, feeds, AI filtering and Slack and Discord alerts. F5Bot compared with Rankhog.
Monitors keywords across Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, Indie Hackers, forums, newsletters and the public web, with X and YouTube as add-ons. Good for teams that want one feed for many communities, delivered where they already work. Not for teams that want replies drafted or posted. Price on 26 October 2026: Entry at $29.95/month, Standard at $49.95/month, Pro at $119.95/month, with a 14-day Pro trial that needs no card. Syften compared with Rankhog.
RedShip, Subreddit Signals, Pulse and CommunityTracker. Each scores Reddit posts for buying intent and hands you a short list, often with a suggested reply. Outside Pulse's Enterprise plan, you write or approve and post every reply yourself. They differ in scope: Subreddit Signals stays inside the rooms you pick, RedShip and Pulse add Google or AI answer tracking, and CommunityTracker adds other networks and outreach.
Checks Reddit every morning for leads and competitor mentions, adds weekly Google search openings and AI citation tracking, and suggests replies. Its site says it never posts on Reddit for you. Good for a team that wants a morning list and will write every reply. Not for teams that want replies posted for them. Price on 26 October 2026: Founder at $29/month, Company at $49/month, or a 7-day pass at $12 once. RedShip compared with Rankhog.
Ranks posts in the subreddits you pick by fit and buying intent, with tools to help you write the comment yourself. No automatic replies. Good for someone watching a short list of rooms. Not for teams that want replies submitted for them. Price on 26 October 2026: Starter at $29/month, Pro at $59/month, a 14-day trial with a card at checkout, and no permanent free tier. Subreddit Signals compared with Rankhog.
Scans Reddit around the clock, scores leads by keyword, subreddit and customer profile, and sends them to Slack, Teams or email with a draft reply. It also tracks brand mentions in ChatGPT, Gemini and other answer engines. Good for teams that want scored leads in Slack, Teams or email with a draft ready. Not for anyone who wants their own tool to post: below Enterprise, its site describes drafts and alerts, and on Enterprise its own team runs engagement for you. Price on 27 October 2026: Starter at $49/month, Growth at $129/month, and Enterprise on request. Pulse compared with Rankhog.
Scores posts for buying intent across Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Hacker News, GitHub and more, enriches leads, and runs LinkedIn and email outreach. Good for B2B sales teams whose pipeline lives outside Reddit. Not for anyone who only cares about Reddit replies. Price on 27 October 2026: a free plan with one Reddit keyword, Starter at $39/month, Pro at $99/month, Advanced at $199/month. CommunityTracker compared with Rankhog.
Reddinbox, now that GummySearch is gone. Research tools answer a different question: what does this market complain about? You ask about a market, competitor or pain, and get themed findings with sources. They suit founders before or while positioning a product. They aren't built to reply to buyers.
An AI agent that searches Reddit, X, Bluesky, Hacker News and Facebook and groups what it finds into themes like top pains, questions and the words people use, with sources linked. Good for learning a market before you build or position. Not for answering buyers: its site describes research and monitoring, not drafting or posting replies. Price on 27 October 2026: Starter at $39/month, Pro at $99/month, a free trial with no card, and free tools capped at 5 uses a day. Reddinbox compared with Rankhog.
It closed on 30 November 2025, and its maker wrote that it shut down to comply with Reddit's API policies. Lifetime deal holders keep access until 30 November 2026. GummySearch shut down: what to use instead covers replacements job by job.
Rankhog, RedditGrow, Redreach and Bazzly, in different ways. Rankhog posts from your own account with approvals, RedditGrow and Redreach add DMs, and Bazzly comments through its own aged accounts. Who posts, and from which account, matters most here.
Mine. Finds buyer threads and planned openings, checks each against what your product does, drafts replies, and posts through your own signed-in browser, either after you confirm or on a guarded autopilot. It can warm up a new account first, the same way how to warm up a Reddit account does by hand. Good for founders who want the finding, drafting and posting in one place, from an account they own. Not for you if you want DMs, other networks than Reddit, an alert-only feed, comments from accounts other than yours, or a research dashboard before you have a product. Price on 27 October 2026: one plan at $99/month per product with 100 credits a month and a 7-day free trial. Rankhog's monitoring in more detail.
Combines leads, reply suggestions, a DM prospect CRM, direct posting with a 7-day warm-up roadmap, and weekly Google and AI visibility checks. Good for people who want DMs or a one-time pack instead of a subscription. Not for heavy posting: Growth includes 15 promotional posts a month, and the pack 25 in total. Price on 26 October 2026: a Founder Pack at $79 once, or Growth at $19/month, each with set quotas. RedditGrow compared with Rankhog.
Finds threads that rank on Google and mentions of you and your competitors, suggests replies you post yourself, and offers a separate Chrome extension for automated DMs with a CRM. Good if private outreach is your main channel. Not for teams that want public replies posted for them. Price on 26 October 2026: its page lists Startup, Growth and Professional plans and a 3-day pass, without amounts. Redreach compared with Rankhog.
Finds and scores threads, then posts comments through its own warmed-up, high-karma Reddit accounts, paid in credits, and sells upvotes too. Comments and DMs from your own account through its extension are free. Good for teams that want comments posted through accounts other than their own. Not for teams that want every comment on their own account and no paid votes. Before you pay for votes, read Reddit's Content Policy: buying votes is vote manipulation. Price on 27 October 2026: one plan at $199/month per project with 170 credits. Bazzly compared with Rankhog.
Start from the job, not the feature list: alerts if knowing is enough, a lead inbox if you'll write every reply, research if you're still learning the market, and an engagement tool if you want help posting. For that last group, check whose account does the posting.
Here is the decision list. Copy it.
- I only want to know when a keyword shows up: F5Bot, or Syften for many sites.
- I want a short list of buyer threads and I'll reply myself: RedShip, Subreddit Signals or Pulse.
- My pipeline runs on LinkedIn and email: CommunityTracker.
- I'm still learning what the market wants: Reddinbox.
- I want DMs: RedditGrow or Redreach.
- I want threads found, replies drafted and posts sent from my own account: Rankhog.
Whatever you pick, the rules don't change. The Reddit rules that get marketers banned apply to every tool, and the Reddit marketing guide covers the approach that keeps an account alive. The full comparison hub has every tool side by side.
- I haven't paid for and run every tool here. These entries describe what each vendor says it does, not results I measured.
- I don't know how each tool's thread scoring compares in practice. Nobody publishes that side by side.
- Prices and plans move. Everything here is as of 26 or 27 October 2026.
If you post on Reddit once a month, you need none of these. Reddit's search and a calendar reminder will do.
If you want a tool to post the same message across many subreddits, no tool on this list will save that account. Reddit's spam policy is written for exactly that.
Today, in this order:
- Write down the one job you need done: alerts, leads, research or engagement.
- Pick the two tools from that group that fit your budget.
- Open each vendor's pricing page and check today's price.
- Start with a free plan or trial where one exists.
- Give it two weeks before you judge it.
Pick. Check. Try. Judge. Keep one.
Thanks for reading. If the job is finding, drafting and posting from your own account, that is the job I built Rankhog for. Rankhog warms up accounts you own, slowly, in your own browser.
