Step 1
Type a subreddit or a topic
A name like r/SaaS works. So do plain words like b2b marketing. You don't need an account.
Type a subreddit or a topic and I'll show you up to 12 subreddits from our guides. Each row has the member count, the karma and account age to post, and whether self-promo is allowed.
Results come from Rankhog's published subreddit guides, not all of Reddit. Rules change, so read a room's newest posts before you write.
The question I get most is "where should I post?" So I built this. It only looks at subreddits we wrote a guide for, which means every number in the table is one we checked, with a full guide one click away.
Step 1
A name like r/SaaS works. So do plain words like b2b marketing. You don't need an account.
Step 2
A subreddit gets the rooms closest to it. A topic gets the rooms whose names and tags fit best, plus the ones from our hand-picked lists.
Step 3
Every row links to its guide. Read the rules there, then read the room's newest posts.
The live tool runs with your own context. This example shows the kind of practical answer you can expect.
Up to 12 rooms, best match first, each linked to its guide.
Pair the tool with Rankhog's subreddit guides when you are posting somewhere strict. The guides cover rules, stats, what works, and removal risks.
Type your niche in plain words, like b2b marketing or indie hackers. The finder looks at every subreddit we have a guide for and puts the closest ones on top. Then open two or three guides and scroll the newest posts in each room. If questions like yours get real answers, that's your room.
Type r/entrepreneur into the finder. It shows r/Entrepreneur first, then the rooms next to it: the same topic, plus the rooms our lists pair it with, like r/smallbusiness and r/startups. Any subreddit we have a guide for works the same way.
Read its rules. Start with the sidebar, then the wiki if it has one. Or let the finder do it: the self-promo column says Allowed, Limited, Banned or Not listed, straight from each room's rules. Not listed means the rules say nothing. That is not the same as allowed, so go easy.
Our own subreddit guides. We read each room's public page and rules about every 30 days and keep the date next to every number. The finder never reads Reddit live, so it's fast and it never guesses. If we don't have a guide for a subreddit yet, it tells you and shows the closest names we do have.
Yes. You get 20 free runs a day across our free tools, no account needed. Rankhog subscribers get unlimited runs, and Rankhog can watch these rooms for threads where your product fits.
Look up a subreddit's members, weekly visitors, age, growth and the karma and account age it asks of new posters.
A free AI moderator simulation that checks your draft against published subreddit rules and six Reddit-native removal risks before you post.
Look up any Reddit user's post karma, comment karma and account age, and see how many subreddit posting rules the account clears.
When a one-off check is not enough
Use Rankhog when you know your rooms and want someone watching them for the threads your buyers start.
