Can I post about my AI music app here?
No. Rule 4 says you may not promote apps, other communities, or paid services, and it states plainly that they do not care about the app you have built.

r/aiMusic is a place to share AI generated music and to talk about programs that generate or influence music. The people here are creators who make songs with AI tools and listeners who enjoy hearing what those tools can do. The community states plainly that it wants to be a valuable resource and a friendly environment for people interested in AI created or assisted music. That tells you the tone before you post anything. This is a pro AI room, and they say so in their first rule. It is also a room built around sharing actual tracks, which is why they limit how often you can share a song. If you are a founder in this space, understand that the community wants participation around AI music, not pitches about products.
The rule that decides most things here is “NO ANTI-AI POSTS OR COMMENTS”. It bans anti AI sentiments, and it warns that words like slop or real music will get your post removed and can earn you a ban with no warning. If you touch marketing at all, “No promotion of apps, other communities, or other paid services. No surveys.” is the wall. The community says outright that they do not care about the app you have built. “No Covers, No Discussion of methods to get around copyright restrictions” matters if your product touches audio of any kind. “AI Music only (No discussions about AI Video)” narrows the topic, though it does allow promoting AI music set to an AI created video. “Limit Song Sharing to 1 Every 24 Hours” controls how often you can drop a track. “No Off-Topic / Low Effort Posts or Comments” means every post must foster substantive discussion. “No Spamming” is the final catch-all. “Be Civil” rounds it out, and it matters most in the comments you leave on other people's songs.
A good post here is an AI-assisted or AI-created track, shared once, with real context. Say what you made, how you made it, and what kind of feedback you want. If your song is set to an AI video, that is welcome, because rule 5 explicitly allows it. Questions and discussion starters about AI music tools and workflows also fit, as long as they are on topic and not a soft ad. If you build something in this space, do not pitch it. Instead, join as a listener and a commenter. Give honest, specific, constructive feedback on other people's songs. Become a regular who clearly loves AI music. That is how you earn trust in a room that has banned self promotion outright.
Do not post anti AI opinions or use words like “slop” or “real music”, because rule 1 bans these terms with no warnings and you can be banned temporarily or permanently. Never post covers or talk about getting around copyright restrictions, per rule 3. Do not promote your app, another community, paid services, or a survey, per rule 4. Keep the topic to AI music only, since AI video discussion is off topic under rule 5. Share no more than one track every 24 hours, because rule 6 says extra tracks get removed and you do not get to pick which one stays. Avoid anything off topic or low effort, because rule 7 removes it. And of course, no spamming, per rule 8. Also stay civil, because insults are out under rule 2.

Yes, and the community is built for that. Rule 6 limits you to one track every 24 hours, and extra tracks get removed at the moderators' discretion.
Yes. Rule 5 bans AI video discussions, but it explicitly says you may promote AI music that is set to an AI created video.
No. Rule 3 says covers of other people's songs are copyright infringement and the community does not tolerate it.
Yes, but only about the song itself. Rule 1 requires criticism to be specific, truthful, informed, and constructive, and rule 2 requires you to be courteous.
