Subreddit Signals pricing: free trial, Starter vs Pro

Subreddit Signals costs $29 or $59 a month with a 14-day trial that needs a card. What Starter and Pro include, what each lacks, and how it compares.

By Anthony Riera · Published October 31, 2026

Yes, you can try Subreddit Signals free before paying. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial. You put in a card at checkout, and you aren't charged until day 14. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. After that, Starter is $29 a month and Pro is $59 a month. There is no free plan.

That's the answer most people came for. Google's AI answers keep asking it, and they keep landing on my site, so here is the full version with dates and links.

It's in 5 parts: the price table, what Pro adds, what each plan is missing, who each plan fits, and how the price stacks up against three other tools. Every price was read on 31 October 2026.

Short answer

Subreddit Signals has two plans. Starter is $29 a month or $288 a year, for 1 brand, up to 10 subreddits and 15 lead tokens a week. Pro is $59 a month or $590 a year, for up to 5 brands, 25 subreddits and 25 tokens a week, plus research and attribution tools. Both start with a 14-day trial that needs a card. You post every reply yourself.

Key takeaways

  • The trial is 14 days on both plans. A card is required, and you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.
  • Its terms say there are no refunds for a trial you forgot to cancel.
  • Pro's real extra is attribution: a pixel that shows visits by subreddit and by AI tool. Starter has none.
  • Lead tokens cap how many leads you can act on each week, 15 on Starter and 25 on Pro.
  • Neither plan has unlimited subreddits, and neither posts for you.

1. What does Subreddit Signals cost?

Starter is $29 a month and Pro is $59 a month. Paid yearly, Starter is $288 and Pro is $590. Both start with a 14-day free trial. Here is everything on its pricing page, as I read it on 31 October 2026.

Source: Subreddit Signals pricing, read 31 October 2026. The "No" rows are features crossed out or missing on the Starter card.

A lead token, in its words, is one of the "weekly credits you spend to unlock and act on leads." So the token count is the real limit, more than the subreddit count.

2. Can you try Subreddit Signals for free?

Yes, for 14 days, with a card. Its FAQ says: "You enter a card at checkout, but you aren't charged until the 14-day trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing." You cancel from billing settings.

The catch is in its terms, section 21 (last updated 7 October 2024): "No exceptions will be made for forgetting to cancel a trial." Refund requests are only looked at within 7 days of purchase, and only for things like a billing error or a duplicate charge.

So the trial is free if you remember. Put a reminder on day 12. I mean it.

There is no free plan after the trial. The FAQ is blunt about it: "No, there is no permanent free tier."

3. What does Pro add over Starter?

Pro adds more room and four extra tools. More room means 5 brands instead of 1, 25 subreddits instead of 10, and 25 lead tokens a week instead of 15. The tools are Pain Points Radar, Competitor Intelligence, Campaign Automations and Thread and Comment Analysis. Then there is attribution, which I think is the one that matters.

Attribution is a pixel you add to your site. Once it's set up, its pricing page says, it "records attributed visits and conversion events by subreddit and AI-referral source," and it names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. Starter doesn't get it. The FAQ says it's "not available on Starter."

That matters because Reddit marketing is hard to measure. Without a pixel you are guessing which replies sent anyone to your site. With one, you have a number. I'd still treat it with care: a visit is not a sale, and a reply that someone reads today may only pay off months later.

Here is the per-token math, which is mine, not theirs. A year has 52 weeks, so Starter gives about 65 tokens a month and Pro about 108.

Per token, monthly billingPer token, yearly billing
Starterabout $0.45about $0.37
Proabout $0.55about $0.45

Pro costs more per token. You aren't paying for leads when you move up. You're paying for brands, research and the pixel.

4. What is missing at each tier?

Starter is missing anything that tells you whether a reply worked. No attribution, no competitor tracking, and only one brand. If you sell two products, Starter can't watch both.

Pro is missing more room past its caps. The card for Pro shows "Unlimited subreddits" crossed out, and the FAQ says "Neither plan includes unlimited subreddits." So 25 is the ceiling. Agencies with many clients will hit it fast.

Neither plan posts for you. The home page says "Subreddit Signals does not auto-post replies." You review the suggested reply, edit it, and post it from your own account. Some people want exactly that. Neither plan helps a new account earn karma or get past a room's self-promotion rules either, so a fresh account will struggle no matter which plan it's on.

5. Which plan fits you?

Pick Starter if you have one product, a short list of rooms, and about two replies a day in you. Fifteen tokens a week is roughly that.

Pick Pro if you run more than one product, you need to prove Reddit sends traffic, or you want to track what people say about your competitors.

Skip both if you want replies posted for you, or if you need more than 25 subreddits.

A quick way to choose, copy it:

One product, under 10 subreddits, no need to prove ROI -> Starter
Two to five products, or you need visits by subreddit -> Pro
More than 25 subreddits, or you want posting done -> another tool

6. How does Subreddit Signals compare on price?

Its price sits in the middle of the pack. Here are three alternatives, with prices read on 31 October 2026 and linked to each comparison page.

ToolCheapest paid planTrial or free planWho posts
Subreddit Signals$29 a month14-day trial, card requiredYou
RedShip$29 a month, or a $12 pass for 7 daysNo trialYou
Syften$29.95 a month14-day trial of Pro, no cardYou
F5Bot$12.99 a monthFree plan for personal useYou

F5Bot and Syften are alert tools. They tell you a keyword showed up. They don't score buyer intent or help you write the reply. RedShip is the closest match, with a $12 pass instead of a trial.

Then there's the tool I make. Rankhog finds buyer threads, drafts a reply that fits the room's rules, and posts it from your own account after you approve it. That page puts it next to Subreddit Signals line by line.

For the wider field, my best Reddit marketing tools list sorts eleven tools by job. If you came from GummySearch, which Subreddit Signals pitches itself as a replacement for, my GummySearch shutdown post starts from the job you used it for. And if you are weighing Redreach too, my Redreach review covers it.

What this does not tell you

I make a rival tool. Rankhog competes with Subreddit Signals, so read this with that in mind.

I have not paid for Subreddit Signals or started its trial. Everything here comes from its pricing page, home page and terms, read on 31 October 2026. I checked the plan cards in the page's own code to see which Starter features are crossed out, since a plain text copy of the page lists them as if Starter had them.

What I don't know: how good its lead scoring is, how many leads 15 tokens really buys in a slow niche, and whether the pixel's numbers match what your own analytics see.

Prices change. Open the pricing page before you start a trial.

What to do next

If you're about to start the trial:

  1. Count your products and the subreddits you'd watch. That picks the plan.
  2. Start the 14-day trial and set a reminder for day 12.
  3. Spend tokens on threads where the person asking is still around: recent ones, or ones that rank on Google.
  4. Write every reply in your own words and follow each room's rules on self-promotion.
  5. On day 12, count replies that got a click. Keep it or cancel.

Count. Start. Remind. Reply. Decide.

Thanks for reading. The Reddit marketing guide covers what to do once you have a list of threads.

Common questions

Can I try Subreddit Signals for free before paying?

Yes. Both Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. You enter a card at checkout, and its pricing page says you aren't charged until the trial ends. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing. There is no permanent free plan.

What is included in Subreddit Signals Pro versus Starter?

Starter covers 1 brand, up to 10 subreddits and 15 lead tokens a week, with the comment builder and buyer intent scoring. Pro raises that to 5 brands, 25 subreddits and 25 tokens a week, and adds Pain Points Radar, Competitor Intelligence, Reddit and AI traffic attribution, Campaign Automations and Thread and Comment Analysis.

Is Subreddit Signals worth $29 a month?

It is if one product, ten subreddits and about 15 leads a week matches how much you can answer by hand. That works out to roughly 45 cents per lead token on monthly billing. If you need attribution or more than one brand, Starter won't do it, and Pro is the plan to price.

Does Subreddit Signals refund a trial I forgot to cancel?

No. Its terms say refunds for trial-based subscriptions will not be granted for failing to cancel before the trial ends. Set a reminder for day 12.

Does Subreddit Signals post replies for me?

No. Its home page says it does not auto-post replies. You review and edit the suggested reply and post it from your own Reddit account.
