Include a link to join (discord or website): Do not put your own personal discord name. Put a link to your server or website.
Self promotion: All self promotion posts for developers/clothing devs/ etc. should have linked Tebex in them. No shop ads.
Quality: Your posts and responses need to be more than just a link. Description is required and your post can't be just a video/photo.
No re-sell posts.: This is not a re-sell subreddit. Reselling your keymasters/servers/assets is not allowed.
Use proper flairs: When you post remember to use proper flair for what you are posting about!
Gang/Crim org recruitments: Gang/Crim organization posts have to mention what server the gang comes from without providing a link for the server to avoid cross promotion.

Works well

A server recruitment post with a full written description of the roleplay style, the features, and who you want to join
A developer or clothing dev post that shows your work and includes your Tebex link as the rules require
An admin or staff recruitment post with a clear description of the role and the server it is for
A gang or criminal organization recruitment post that names the server it belongs to without linking the server

Avoid

Posting the same server or any post from your account more than once within 72 hours, which breaks “Don't spam - Max. 1 post every 72 hours”
Dropping a bare discord or website link with no description, which fails “Include a link to join (discord or website)” and “Quality”
Putting your personal discord name instead of a server or website link, which breaks “Include a link to join (discord or website)”
Posting a video or image alone with no written description, which fails “Quality”
Selling or reselling servers, keymasters accounts, or assets, which breaks “No re-sell posts.”
Advertising a shop without Tebex linked, which breaks “Self promotion” and its no shop ads clause

What r/FiveMServers Is For

This community exists for one clear purpose, letting people promote their FiveM servers. The public description says you can recruit players, developers, or admins, so the room is built for server owners looking to grow, scripters and clothing devs offering their work, and people hunting for a roleplay server to join or a team to join. Everyone posting here is promoting something, and that is accepted, as long as the rules are followed.

Rules That Matter Before Posting

The rules that decide whether a marketing post survives start with “Don't spam - Max. 1 post every 72 hours”, which limits you to one post every 72 hours from one account and covers repeat posts of the same server. “Include a link to join (discord or website)” requires a link to your server or website and says not to put your own personal discord name. “Quality” requires a description, so your post cannot be just a link, a video, or a photo. “Use proper flairs” means every post needs the right flair for what it is about. If you promote yourself as a developer or clothing dev, “Self promotion” requires a linked Tebex and says no shop ads. “Non-GTAVRP content is not allowed.” keeps everything on topic for GTA V roleplay. “Drama” and “No personal attacks against each other.” keep server disagreements and attacks out. “No re-sell posts.” bans reselling keymasters, servers, or assets. Finally, “Gang/Crim org recruitments” says gang posts must name their server but cannot link it, to avoid cross promotion. “English” means posts must be written in English.

What To Post

A good post here is a well described server recruitment. Write a real description of your server, what makes it different, what kind of roleplay you run, and who you are recruiting, whether that is players, developers, or admins. Include a link to join through your discord or website, never just your personal discord handle. Pick the correct flair for what you are posting. If you are a script or clothing developer promoting your services, include your Tebex link in the post. Keep it to one post per account every 72 hours, so make that one post count.

What To Avoid

The fastest removals come from breaking the posting basics. Posting more than once every 72 hours, or reposting the same server, breaks the spam rule. A post that is just a link, or just a video or photo with no description, fails the quality rule. Putting your personal discord name instead of a server or website link fails the join link rule. Promoting dev work without a Tebex link, or running shop ads, breaks the self promotion rule. Reselling keymasters, servers, or assets is banned outright. Non GTA V roleplay content is not allowed. Drama about servers you dislike, personal attacks, trolling, racist, sexist, or hate speech, and NSFW images or videos are all banned. Non English posts are not accepted. Gang recruitment posts must not include a server link. Every post also needs the correct flair.
