- No drug test posts.: Posts about how to pass a drug test are disallowed. See /r/drugtesthelp or /r/Drugtests instead.
- No image posts.: This includes memes, weedporn, and other types of image posts. There are other subs such as /r/trees, /r/weed, /r/weedporn for that.
- No video posts.: An exception is allowed if submitted as a text post along with some commentary about the video, however. Please do not post content from your youtube channel.
- Don't try to buy or sell weed here.: It's spam that could also get us in trouble with the administrators. You will be banned immediately. Do not inquire about sites to buy weed/THC from either.
- No editorialized or misleading titles.: Link submissions should be titled using the article's title and/or text from the article. Link submissions with editorialized and/or misleading titles are subject to removal.
- No asking how to bring vapes/gummies/flower on planes/trains/boats/etc.: It's a totally valid question but has been asked countless times and is therefore covered in the [FAQ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Marijuana/wiki/index).

- A text post sharing your own experience with a cannabis or hemp topic, written to invite replies
- A link to a real news article, titled exactly as the article titles it, with a short comment from you on why it matters
- A video shared inside a text post, with your own written commentary about the video
- A question about cannabis law reform or industry trends that opens a discussion without selling anything
- A plain writeup of something you learned working in or around the space, with no link attached
Avoid
- Posting an image, meme, or photo, because “No image posts.” gets it removed fast
- Dropping a bare video link, because “No video posts.” only allows videos inside text posts with commentary
- Linking your own blog post or product page, because “No advertising.” treats it as an ad
