This is a community for people building with n8n, an extendable workflow automation tool you can self-host and customize with your own functions, logic, and apps. The subreddit is technical by nature. People come here to ask for help, share templates, and contribute.
The rules that matter most for marketing here are No Self-Promotion or Advertising, No Business, Agency, or Client-Related Posts, No Links to Paid Workflows, Paid Communities, or Signup-Required Content, All Workflow and Video Posts Must Include the Code, No Google Drive or Google Docs Links, Use the Correct Post Flair, and No AI Slop. These seven rules define what survives and what gets removed.
A good post here is a real n8n workflow you built, shared with the Workflow - Github Included flair, with the code included directly in the Reddit post using a GitHub repository, a GitHub Gist, or an n8n.io/workflows link. You can also ask a genuine technical question or share a template that helps others solve a problem. Your post has to be useful to people building with n8n, not useful to your funnel. If you want to share something you created, make sure the code is public and the post stands on its own without anyone needing to click through to your product.
Don't promote your own tools, SaaS products, paid services, courses, or platforms. Don't post about starting an agency, finding clients, pricing your services, or selling automation. Don't link to paid workflows, paid communities, or anything requiring a signup, including Gumroad, Skool, paid Discord servers, and email-gated templates. Don't share Google Drive or Google Docs links. Don't post a workflow screenshot or video without the code. Don't use the wrong flair to sidestep rules. Don't post AI-generated content. Keep things civil and stay on topic.
