This community is a place to discuss the ins and outs and ups and downs of child rearing, from pregnancy through the teenage years. People come here to get advice on topics like potty training, breastfeeding, sleep, and whether something their kid does is normal. The rules say posting is only for legal parents and guardians, including step-parents, adoptive parents, and long-term partners. Non-parents can read the wikis and participate in the comment section, but they cannot make posts.
The rule that matters most for any founder is "Posts and Comments: Automatic Perma-Ban and Spam Notice". The rule "Posts and Comments: No Medical Discussion" bans all medical discussion, and "Posts and Comments: No Legal or CPS Discussion or Advice" bans all legal and CPS discussion.
If you are a founder who is also a legal parent or guardian, you can post a text-only discussion about your own parenting journey, as long as it is genuinely about parenting and not about your product. The rules require posts to be text-based, parenting-related, about your own children, and focused on your own parent journey. A good post asks the community for advice or shares a genuine parenting experience in plain text, with no links, no images, and no mention of your business. If you are not a legal parent or guardian, you should not post here at all, but you can still read the wikis and leave encouraging comments that offer advice and create helpful discourse.
